METHOD FOR PRODUCING STYRENE-BUTADIENE COPOLYMER MOLDING USING BENZOINS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method of a styrene-butadiene copolymer without generating gelled matter on melting by heat and capable of obtaining a molding. SOLUTION: This method for molding a styrene-butadiene copolymer comprises heating the styrene-butadiene copolymer with benzoins expressed by formula (I) and melting followed by molding. The amount of the benzoins used is normally 0.01 pts.wt. or more based on 100 pts.wt. of the styrene- butadiene copolymer. Both injection molding and extrusion molding are usable to obtain a molding. Benzoin is preferably used as the benzoins.
