PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal insulation coating, which keeps convenience of execution of a semi-wet mixed spraying method and obtains a required strength at the lowest possible cost, and its spraying method. SOLUTION: The thermal insulation coating comprises a rock wool and a cement to solidify the rock wool, the cement contains a binder. In spraying the rock wool with a cement slurry to form a thermal insulation coating, the cement slurry is prepared from cement and water as major components with an addition of a binder, where a bituminous or a synthetic resinous binder is usable. The content of binder is preferable in the range of 0.1-5 wt.%.
