PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting block capable of flexibly corresponding to the state of a paved surface, maintaining the workability of laying works. SOLUTION: The connecting block 10 is constituted by connecting a plurality of blocks 11 by reticulate connecting members 12 composed of a plurality of metallic linear elements 12a and 12b having elasticity. The connecting members 12 are bonded and fixed on the rear sides of each block 11 under the state in which parts of the connecting members 12 are covered with covering cloth 13. Accordingly, movement in the mutual contacting and separating directions of each adjacent block 11 is controlled by the connecting members 12 while adhesive layers 14 are protected by the covering cloth 13 in the connecting block 10 constituted in this manner. Consequently, the connecting block 10 can be laid on a paving surface under the state in which connecting intervals among each block 11 are equalized while bending in the thickness direction of the blocks 11 is permitted.
