PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metalworking process capable of introducing a large amount of strain into metal in the condition of keeping thickness by developing new production process for multi-directional working through a combined line of forging and rolling. SOLUTION: Metal with work hardening properties are deformed compressedly, reduced gradually to a predetermined thickness and given a large amount of strain by each operation of a plurality of working stages in a combined line of forging and rolling. The metal can be deformed compressedly by choosing the different directions of working at former and at latter operations of working stages.
