PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for processing residual molten metal in centrifugal casting capable of partitioning the residual molten metal to which a trough after the centrifugal casting adheres by solidification into a transferable size without using a breaker in the tube centrifugal casting unit. SOLUTION: In the trough 3 capable of supplying the molten metal 7 to a rotational metal frame 5 of the centrifugal casting unit 1, along the longitudinal direction of this trough 3, an exhaust nozzle 12 as a plurality of blowing means is provided so as to be blown with a spacing against the residual molten metal 9 inside the trough 3. By this way, the residual molten metal 9 inside the trough is blown energetically out of a plurality of exhaust nozzles 12 so that the residual molten metal 9 portion blown is made thinner compared with other portions, and under this state, the residual molten metal 9 is solidified.
