PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder waste treatment apparatus capable of efficiently oxidizing and decomposing organic compounds contained in powder wastes to remove them. SOLUTION: The powder waste treatment apparatus comprises a cylindrical heating apparatus, a supply port for supplying powder wastes to the cylindrical heating apparatus, a supply port for supplying slaked lime, paddle blades installed in the axial direction of the cylindrical heating apparatus to stir, mix, transport the powder waste and slaked lime and prevent them from adhering to the wall face, a large number of gas blowing outlets formed in the paddle blades for blowing a gas to promote oxidation and decomposition of the organic compounds contained in the wastes, a driving means for rotating the cylindrical heating apparatus or the paddle blades, a discharge outlet for discharging the heated and treated powder wastes, and a dust removal means for separating a gas in the heating apparatus from the powder wastes and discharging the gas.
