PURPOSE: A tantalum solid electrolytic condenser and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase volume ratio of a tantalum element and reduce badness of the tantalum element. CONSTITUTION: A tantalum solid electrolytic condenser is manufactured by molding tantalum power along with a tantalum lead(S301). The molded tantalum element is sintered(S302). The tantalum lead is pressed to have a sheet part(S303). The end of the tantalum lead is welded to a metal sheet(S304). T2O3 film is formed over the tantalum metal surface by immersing the welded tantalum lead into electrolytic solution and applying a DC voltage(S305). The thermal decomposition of the tantalum element forms a MnO2 layer(S306). C/Ag are coated over the surface of the tantalum element to draw a cathode(S307). The sheet part of the tantalum lead is welded to a + lead frame and the cathode of the tantalum element is welded to a - lead frame(S308). Marking, cutting and aging processes are performed and the +, - terminals are plated with Ni non-electrolytic plating and SnPb electrolytic plating(S309). |
