The holding device has a base plate (2) formed in one piece with a front function part (4) and joined by a film hinge (3). The front function part has a holder such as a hook, clip or press stud. The front function part can have detent devices by which it can be detachably connected to corresponding detent devices in the base plate. The device can be made in one piece from plastics. The side of the base plate facing the adhesive strip has spacers (9) arranged on both sides of the strip whereby the height of the spacer is less than the thickness of the strip.
