PURPOSE: A helmet manufacturing method is provided to lighten a weight of a helmet and to improve the strength of the helmet with reducing the fault rate by forming a fiberglass reinforced plastic resin layer in the helmet. CONSTITUTION: A slot is formed in an inner portion of a mold(1) and a resin inputting pipe(2) and an air injection pipe(3) are installed at an upper portion of the mold(1). Resin(4) is injected into the slot of the mold(1) through the resin inputting pipe(2). High pressurized air is injected through the air injection pipe(3). An FRP resin is coated on an article. A surface of the FRP resin is pressed so as to uniformly maintain the thickness of the FRP resin. A neck portion and a face portion of the article are cut, thereby forming a helmet shape. Then, a surface of the article is printed. After heat-treating the printed article, various parts are assembled into the helmet.
