MANUFACTURE OF NON-SINTERED CEMENT USING BLAST FURNACE SLAG AS MAIN MATERIALS

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of non-sintered cement using blast furnace slag as a main material through the process of grinding and mixing without sintering is provided to save manufacturing cost and improve strength and durability of cement. CONSTITUTION: Non-sintered cement comprises 70-88wt.% of blast furnace slag, 11-20wt.% of gypsum, 0.5-3wt.% of NaOH, 0.5-2wt.% of Al2(SO4)3, 0.5-1wt.% of CaO or Ca(OH)2, 0-3wt.% of lime stone, 0-2wt.% of hardening accelerator. The resultant cement with 4000-6000cm¬2/g surface area is also used as a binder and admixture.
