PURPOSE: A method for selling a lottery ticket through an Internet service is provided to supply a drawing benefit to a personal buyer with respect to all prize winnings except a portion applied to a discount rate by setting numerals consisted of consecutive numbers of lottery tickets as one selling group and selling the discount rate-applied lottery tickets. CONSTITUTION: A lottery ticket seller purchases a lottery ticket to be sold to a member through a lottery ticket selling server through a lottery ticket issuing institution or a lottery ticket circulation institution and inputs information of a corresponding lottery ticket to a lottery ticket selling server and stores the information in a selling lottery ticket database(601). The lottery ticket seller classifies various selling groups having consecutive numbers, respectively, based on the lottery ticket information(602). Discount rates to be each selling group are decided(603). The calculated discount rate and lottery ticket information are displayed on a lottery displaying unit for being supplied to a lottery ticket buyer member(604). If a lottery ticket is sold, corresponding transaction contents are stored in a lottery ticket purchase details database(605). Drawing result information of the lottery ticket issuing institution is inputted and stored in a lottery ticket drawing information database(606). A lottery ticket drawing or not is judged based on the drawing result information and transaction information of the lottery ticket purchase details database(607). A lottery ticket winning result is transmitted(608). Process requesting information of a winning lottery ticket of a lottery ticket purchase member is recorded in a lottery ticket winning management database(609).
