Counter has ac-to-dc voltage converter, subtraction unit, reference-voltage source, inverter, switch, n comparators, where n is number of analysis levels of voltage spike or dip amplitude modulus, 2n + 1 one-shot multivibrators, n + 1 AND gates, two OR gates, two meters, SR flip-flop, and rectangular-pulse generator.
