PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image printer and an image printing method having an operating section which can be operated easily even for a person having no expert knowledge. SOLUTION: The image printer comprises a touch screen having a function as a section for displaying a plurality of data including images or set data, and as an operating section receiving an operational input from a user and as a screen position indicator wherein a plurality of data, e.g. images, are inputted and displayed in respective regions on a screen and then each displayed data is printed based on a designation from a user. When an input representing one gesture is accepted in a specific region on the touch screen, a designation of print processing data corresponding to that specific region and a designation of a numeric data indicating the number of copies of that data by analyzing that gesture are obtained simultaneously. Information not of the number of copies but of the print shape or the print sheet size is obtained for some gesture. |
