PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sensitivity of a process for detecting an uneven density region, and in particular to provide a system for detecting uneven region capable of detecting only the uneven region to be an object without falsely detecting a hazy section in a color filter with hazy properties. SOLUTION: The system for detecting uneven region is composed of a light source 50 illuminating an object to be tested, an image pickup section 51 picking up an image of the object to be tested, a memory 62 storing the value of the amount of received light, a standard deviation calculation means 63 calculating a standard deviation value of the amount of received light, a threshold calculation means 64 calculating a threshold value from the standard deviation value, a received light amount averaging means 65 calculating an average value of the amounts of received light stored at neighboring addresses in the memory, a binary means 66 setting the value 1 (black) in the case the absolute value of the difference between the average value of the amounts of received light and the value of the amounts of received light is larger than the threshold value, and the value 0 (white) in the case the absolute value is smaller than the threshold value, and a display 70 displaying the binary data. |
