<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ATM switchboard for preventing concentration of VC (path) on a certain path, generation of congestion of a network and degradation of communication throughput, due to abort of a cell in selection of a VC of an ATM network. SOLUTION: The ATM switchboard is provided with a line occupation rate setting/managing part 105, an ATM cell counter part 109, an AAL separating/ generating part 110 and an address-analyzing/translating part 111 in addition to a link fault managing part 101, a network topology managing part 102, a routing table setting/managing part 103, a VC-setting/managing part 104, a header conversion/rate control part 106, a terminal interface 107 and an ATM switching interface part 108.</p> |
