PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial marble which shows high adhesive properties with a base resin and is free from the deterioration of its physical property and the deposition of a patterning material on the surface of a mold during molding, without a product pattern variability. SOLUTION: A resin compound for manufacturing an artificial marble obtained by mixing a flake-like patterning material 1 with fine irregularities 4 with a base resin, is molded into the artificial marble.
