PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the effects of the vibration which is generated when a plunger is in action on the game with respect to a game ball catapulting device provided with a hitting device with the plunger. SOLUTION: The game ball catapulting device 1 does not fix the hitting device 24 in a stationary state but supports it in such a way that it can swing back and forth. The hitting device 24 is forced forward by a forcing member 26 and its forward movement is limited by a board stopper 28. When the forward actuation of the plunger 30 is started, the hitting device 24 is backed by a swing mechanism which is composed of first - third gears 62, 66 and 68 and the like before the plunger 30 reaches the end of the range of its movement. Accordingly, though vibration is generated and is transmitted to a rotating board 22 when the plunger 30 reaches its operating end, it is transformed into the back-and-forth motion of the hitting device 24 and is absorbed.
