PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remaining water treatment pump capable of draining water completely at very low water level without reducing suction efficiency from a strainer bottom plate when driving the pump, preventing the back flow of water when stopping the pump, and being used in the suction work of stagnant water on a floor and provide a check packing thereof. SOLUTION: The check packing made of an elastic thin plate forming a plurality of tongue pieces 11 is used in which flexible parts 11a, 11a perform dihedral action by forming a peripheral part on an annular mounting face 8 and applying radial cut-in and branched cut-in. When the pump is driven, each tongue piece 11 leaves the strainer bottom plate 4, and a small suction hole 7 is opened and communicated with a pump suction opening 3. When the pump is stopped, each tongue piece 11 adheres closely on the strainer bottom plate 4 to shut off the communication between the small suction hole 7 and the pump suction opening 3.
