PURPOSE: A searcher operating method for a multi-channel in a mobile communication system is provided to share 'N' number of searchers by 'M' number of channels by time division, and effectively operate the searcher by using DBR(Data Burst Randomizer) information of each channel at a frame start portion. CONSTITUTION: An interrupt controller(10) generates an interrupt to a CPU(50) and controls the interrupt so that the interrupt can be cleared by the CPU(50). A system timer(20) is aligned to a system reference time to inform current time information. 'M' number of DBR pattern generator(30) generates a DBR pattern for 'm' number of channels by a common long code state, a long code mask of each channel, a frame offset and a data transfer rate. A searcher(40) has a search parameter buffer and a search result buffer.
