PURPOSE: A structure for mounting a vehicle door trim is provided to reduce the required parts and assembling steps, reducing the manufacturing cost and simplify the mounting work, improving the assembling precision of the door trim. CONSTITUTION: A structure for mounting a vehicle door trim includes a retainer(3) integrally molded to a plastic element part(2a) of a door trim(2), wherein the retainer is inserted into a mounting hole(1a) of a door inner panel(1) and inserted by a tapping screw, wherein the retainer is formed of wedge parts(3a) with protrusions on outer surfaces, the wedge parts are closed before the tapping screw is inserted but opened outwardly as the tapping screw is inserted so that the protrusions are held by the door inner panel, thereby preventing the retainer from escaping from the mounting hole.
