PURPOSE: A device for supporting hermetic type compressor is provided to efficiently reduce vibration generated during normal operation of the compressor over relatively wide band of vibration frequency. CONSTITUTION: A device includes a plurality of first elastic supportive members(5) interposed between a supportive bracket(3) and a supportive surface(9); and a plurality of second elastic supportive members(7) installed in parallel with the first elastic supportive members and having elastic moduli different from elastic moduli of the first elastic supportive members so that the first elastic supportive members and the second elastic supportive members are placed coaxially with each other.
