PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high-purity carboxylic acid diaryl ester in an excellent yield achieving a reduced environmental pollution and a low content of organic substances in the drainage. SOLUTION: This method for continuously producing the carboxylic acid diaryl ester is an interfacial method for continuously producing the carboxylic acid diaryl ester from phosgene and a monophenol in an inert solvent in the presence of an alkali solution and a nitrogen base catalyst, and is characterized in that the method comprises a first stage for mixing phosgene, the inert solvent and phenol in the solution to form a material system, and a second stage for completing the reaction for forming the carboxylic acid diaryl ester, where the first stage is carried out at pH 11.0-12.0 at <=40 deg.C and the second stage if performed at pH 7.5-10.5 at <50 deg.C.
