PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonsteroid compound having a prodrug and a pharmacologically permissible salt of the compound which are selective modulator of steroid receptor, specially glucocorticoid receptor (for example, agonist, partial agonist and antagonist). SOLUTION: This compound of is represented by formula (1) which has a prodrug of the compound or a pharmacologically permissible salt of the compound. Glucocorticoid receptor modulator is useful for medical treatment of obesity, diabetes mellitus and inflammation.
