PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat exchanger in which the spiral tube section for transporting heat exchanging fluid can be cleaned efficiently and suitably. SOLUTION: Flanges 24, closing openings 1d and 3c from the inside via seal members 1c and 25, are formed, respectively, at first and second straight tubular sections 21 and 22. The flange 24 is provided with a stud bolt 24a, penetrating through a hole made at the fringe part of the opening 1d to the outside of a tank 3 and being tightened with a nut 24b at the part projecting from the hole. Pipe ends of the first and second straight tubular sections 21 and 22 are coupled separably with the pipe end of a transport pipe 2a constituting a passage 2 for transporting the heat exchanging fluid, while placing a guide tubular body 2b in between.
