PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fasten and install a cushioning material to and in a groove part formed in a constitutive member of a surface grating, to prevent contact of mutual surface gratings when stacking the surface gratings by this cushioning material, to reduce use of a conventional housing protentive vinyl bag, and reduce quantity of industrial waste at an execution work site. SOLUTION: This surface grating with the cushioning material is provided in such a way that the groove part of a cushioning material installing part is formed on a side surface of a grating material of a part of vertical and horizontal grating materials for constituting the surface grating, and the soft synthetic resin cushioning material is fastened to and installed in this groove part so as not to damage a surface grating surface when mutual surfaces of the stacked surface gratings directly contact with each other at carrying and storing time, and so as not to damage an end part of a vertical grating material by putting or inserting a cap member on and into a leaning end part of the vertical grating material when leant against a wall surface up to installation work.
