PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply separate glass filaments in the joined parts of glass cloth mutually by applying stress to the glass cloth not only to enhance the impregnation properties of the glass cloth with a resin but also to suppress the loosening of the texture of the glass cloth. SOLUTION: The glass cloth (5) is passed through the nip between at least a pair of pressure rolls (4) having smooth surfaces to be pressed by the pressure rolls (4).
