PURPOSE: A power amplification apparatus is provided to prevent unnecessary power waste and to improve power efficiency by forming a power detecting circuit in a bias circuit of a first power amplifying part. CONSTITUTION: A power amplification apparatus comprises a first power amplifying part(11) amplifying a power of an outer signal, a bias circuit(12) supplying a bias to the first power amplifying part(11), a power detecting circuit(13) detecting a power level according to a current change of the bias circuit(12), a second power amplifying part(14) amplifying a signal power supplied from the first power amplifying part(11), a second bias circuit(15) supplying a bias to the second power amplifying part(14) according to the power level of the power detecting circuit(13), and a DC(Direct Current) to DC converter(16) supplying an operating source to the second power amplifying part(14) according to the power level of the power detecting circuit(13).
