PURPOSE: A gas compressor is provided to simplify structure thereof, to easily increase capacity thereof and to minimize pulsation in case of using a plurality of pairs of pump members. CONSTITUTION: A compressor(10) includes a cylinder(12); partition members(24a,24b) and end wall members(14a,14b) intercepting a passage formed in axial direction of the cylinder; and rotary pump members(18a,18b) and reciprocating pump members(20a,20b) placed in the cylinder. The rotary pump members rotate and the reciprocating pump members interact with the rotary pump members to reciprocate in axial direction so that volume of spaces between the reciprocating pump members and the partition members and the end wall members is changed between minimum and maximum to take in, compress and discharge gas.
