SUBSTANCE: novel method for production of lithium fluorophosphates having general formula I (represented in description) wherein "a" is an integer from 1 to 5, b is 0 or 1, "c" is an integer from 0 to 3, and "e" integer from 1 to 4, on condition that ligands (CHbFc(CF3)d) can be different. Monochloro- or monofluoro-, dichloro- or difluoro-, chlorofluoroalkylphosphanes, chloromono-, chlorodi-, chlorotri- or chlorotetraalkylphosphoranes, fluoromono-, fluorodi- , fluorotri- or fluorotetraalkylphosphoranes are subjected to electrochemical fluorination in inert solvent. Resulting mixture of products, if needed, is separated by distillation into different fluorinated products and thus obtained fluorinated alkylphosphanes are subjected to reaction with lithium fluoride in aprotic polar solvent at temperature from - 35 to 60 C. Also disclosed are lithium fluorophosphates of general formula I themselves as well as electrolytes for lithium batteries and secondary lithium batteries.
