PURPOSE: An opening and closing device of a large manual valve is provided to open and close the large manual valve when the valve is checked and repacked by dismantling. CONSTITUTION: An opening and closing device comprises an air impact wrench head(50) to prevent the sliding and the damage of a tool by fixing an air impact wrench; a base hinge semi assembly(60) rotated at 360degrees; a middle hinge semi assembly(70) to support the balance of an upper arm and a lower arm, to maintain the angle in the proper position of a valve and to support the load of an impact head assembly in the end of a safety locking device; a head hinge semi assembly(80) to support the balance of the air impact wrench head and operated leftward and rightward; upper arms(60,70,80) to support the loads of the base hinge semi assembly, middle hinge semi assembly and the head hinge semi assembly and to contain shock absorbers in the lower arm and the upper arm for preventing the falling; a driving portion to control a torque within a torque range of 14.4-36.0FT and to be manually controlled by assembling a manual handle after removing the upper part(120) of the driving portion; an air unit to increase and to decrease the appropriate air pressure by removing foreign substances in air; a tool storage box equipped with a caster; and auxiliary components. Thereby, the maintenance time and the fatigue of a worker are reduced.
