<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leaving sheets and newly discharged sheets from being mixed when sheets loaded on a sheet loading member is left for a given time. SOLUTION: This sheet post-processing device 300 comprises: a bin unit 307 having bins 307a, 307b, 307c on which discharged sheets S are loaded, and capable of abandoning the sheets on the bins; an abandoned sheet loading device 309 for receiving abandoned sheets from the bins; a time input device 313 for setting a sheet abandoning time interval; a control unit 319 for abandoning the sheets on the bins onto the abandoned sheet loading device by controlling operation of the bin units after the time corresponding to the sheet abandoning time interval elapses after the sheets are loaded on the bins. By abandoning the leaving sheets onto the abandoned sheet loading device 309, newly discharged sheets are not mixed with the leaving sheets, so that a user can distinguish the newly discharged sheets from the leaving sheets.</p> |
