PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptor and a lock for an excavating tooth, enhancing stability for the attachment of a pointed end by providing a supporting surface extended approximately in parallel with the vertical shaft of the excavating tooth. SOLUTION: The adaptor is used for the excavating tooth composed of a rear base end for being fixed for engagement to an excavating blade of an excavator and an end protruding forward for the attachment of an abrasion member. The end, having the vertical shaft and a front end, is defined by a pair of convergent walls, which are tapered toward the front end, a pair of side walls, a plurality of the first supporting surfaces, which are extended approximately in parallel with the vertical shaft, and a plurality of the second supporting surfaces extended approximately in parallel with the vertical shaft. An interval between the first supporting surface and the vertical shaft is made wider than an interval between the second supporting surface and the vertical shaft. Additionally, each of the first supporting surfaces is located between one of the convergent walls and one of the side surfaces. |
