PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surfboard with an engine improved in getting-on/off performance by suppressing the height of a boat body rear part low while ensuring high turning performance, having excellent controllability being able to take a free riding position and suppressing engine vibration low. SOLUTION: This surfboard 1 with the engine is constituted by arranging a horizontal cylinder engine 4 provided with a crankshaft 16 disposed in the longitudinal direction of a boat body 2, and a jet unit 5 provided with an impeller shaft 16 coaxially connected to the crankshaft 16 of the horizontal cylinder engine 4, at the rear part in the boat body 2.
