manufacture of paint rollers. SUBSTANCE: method includes spiral winding of textile material onto plastic tube. Tube members whose length corresponds to length of paint roller are fitted on rotating mandrel. Tube members are compressed together with a provision of their engagement with one another and rotation together with mandrel. Mandrel is simultaneously rotated with winding of material on tube members and material fastening to them. Material is cut in points of joint of tube members. Device for manufacture of paint rollers has a rotating mandrel, means for direction of material band to the mandrel, means for winding of material on the mandrel, means for securing of material to the mandrel and cutting of wound material in points of tube members joint. Tube member length corresponds to length of paint roller with a possibility of compression with tube other members and engagement with one another by means of teeth made on their axial edges. Member rotates together with the mandrel for winding of material on it and fastening of material and also for material cutting in points of tube member joint. The invention makes it possible to perform cutting on the same machine on which material is wound without risk of mandrel damage. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 13 cl, 4 dwg |
