PURPOSE: A system for alerting a vehicular theft and a method therefore are provided to effectively cope with a vehicular theft by informing a vehicular owner of a vehicular theft using short message service or sound call data. CONSTITUTION: A vehicular terminal(100) is installed to be adapted to transmit short message service or sound call data to a mobile terminal, wherein the mobile terminal is interlinked with a vehicular theft monitoring system and set to generate a signal to own data base. A wireless communication network(200) causes the short message service or sound call data to be transmitted to a vehicular owner by identifying the vehicular theft from the short message service or sound call data sent from the vehicular terminal. A vehicular owner terminal(300) provides the vehicular owner with an alert of the vehicular theft by receiving the data from the wireless communication network to display it to the vehicular owner. |
