PURPOSE: Provided is a magnetic sorting apparatus for collecting iron particles in rolling using a permanent magnet mounted on the peripheral of a drum to generate a magnetic field. CONSTITUTION: The magnetic sorting apparatus for collecting iron particles during rolling includes a plurality of disc-shaped drums(115); a plurality of permanent magnets mounted on a part of the peripheral of the drums; a plurality of disk-shaped prefabricated holders to fix the permanent magnets; a non-magnetic drum case(110) surrounding the outermost part of the drum and rotating separately from the drums; a shaft(130) holding the drum case; a driving device to rotate the drum case on the shaft; and a collector(180) disposed at one side of the drum case.
