<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an easy-to-maintain indoor unit of air conditioner, in which dust is prevented from entering the back face drain pan on the body side and the fixing work of an air filter is facilitated. SOLUTION: The indoor unit of an air conditioner comprises an air inlet 10 provided at an upper part of a body 1, an air inlet 3 provided in a panel 2 fixed to the front face of the body 1, an air filter 7 having a body side end part being inserted into a groove 9 installed in the body 1 and covering the body air inlet 10 and the panel air inlet 3 in its entirety, a heat exchanger 5 disposed in an air duct connecting the body air inlet 10, the panel air inlet 3 and a fan 4, and drain pans 6a and 6b disposed below the heat exchanger 5, wherein the net of the air filter 7 is made denser on the body air inlet 10 side than on the panel air inlet 3.</p> |
