PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating dioxins to clean soil on a site where soil polluted with dioxins is present. SOLUTION: The soil cleaning method consists of a sampling process for sampling the surface soil of soil polluted with dioxins, a decomposition agent adding and mixing process for adding a decomposition agent to the sampled surface soil to mix the same therewith, an acceleration liquid adding and kneading process for adding an acceleration liquid to the surface soil after the decomposition agent adding and mixing process, a standing process allowing the surface soil after the acceleration liquid adding and kneading process to stand for a predetermined time and a neutralizing agent sprinkling process for sprinkling a neutralizing agent after the elapse of the standing process.
