PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blow molding method and a device therefor, capable of obtaining an article high in a discriminating function for distinguishing the same from another commodity. SOLUTION: Upon molding the article provided with an in-molded label by a mold having an inner wall surface wherein crests and troughs are combined properly, the in-molded label is arranged along the inner wall surface of the mold prior to the blow molding of the article to suck the in-molded label from at least one of the crests and troughs on the inner wall surface of the mold to retain the same on the inner wall surface of the mold.
