SPUN BOND NON-WOVEN FABRIC MADE OF REGENERATED POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE RESIN AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem becoming an obstacle for a stable and continuous production in the production of a spun bond non-woven fabric by using a regenerated polyethylene terephthalate resin as a raw material, and also the non-woven fabric obtained by this method. SOLUTION: This spun bond non-woven fabric made of the regenerated polyethylene terephthalate resin and its method for production are provided by using the regenerated polyethylene terephthalate resin, exhibiting >=75 deg.C glass transition temperature measured in nitrogen gas flow under a condition of 10 deg.C/min temperature-elevating rate by using a differential scanning calorimeter, or the regenerated polyethylene terephthalate resin from which diethylene glycol is taken out by a hydrolysis treatment in an amount <=1.50 mass % based on the amount of the resin before the above treatment.
