PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring apparatus and a measuring method capable of carrying out accurate measurement by trapping bubbles by a bubble intrusion suppressing means even when bubbles causing measurement interference are generated in a measurement of a substance to be inspected inside a sample and preventing interference of the measurement due to inhibition of a reaction between substances participating in a measurement reaction by the bubbles. SOLUTION: In this measuring apparatus for a substance to be inspected inside a sample, a sample feeding part and a determining part are connected by a passage having a space surrounded by walls comprising a non-water absorbing material. The measuring apparatus and the measuring method using this measuring apparatus is characterized by that the sample feeding part has the bubble intrusion suppressing means.
