PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch type solenoid valve which can be actuate to be opened without a special power source, of which the valve-opened state can be held after it is opened, and of which the valve-closed state can be held after it is closed. SOLUTION: This solenoid valve is electrically driven to be closed by the supply of power, and its valve-opened state or valve-closed state is held without the supply of power. On this solenoid valve 10, a manual operation part 52 is provided, and by a manual operation force added to the manual operation part 52, a plunger valve element 33 is forcedly and non-electrically moved from a valve-closing position to a valve-opening position.
