PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of fixing a rotatable and friction- connectable connection element of a gear on a drive shaft to form an overload safety device and compensating an error in the radial direction between the drive shaft and the gear by the elasticity in the radial direction by improving a conventional gear feed pump constituted such that a pair of mutually meshing gears 16, 18 arranged in a pump chamber 14 of casings 10, 12 and rotated and driven are provided to convey fuel into a pressure chamber 28 along a conveyance passage 30 formed between the surroundings of the gears 16, 18 and a peripheral wall 15 of the pump chamber 14 from a suction chamber 26 by the gears and the gear 16 on one side has a hole 32 and is fixed on the drive shaft 22 supported rotatably in the casing 10 to convey, in particular, fuel into a fuel high pressure pump.
