PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of bad workability and low assembling accuracy in a conventional assembly method of vehicle exterior equipment. SOLUTION: This assembly method of vehicle exterior equipment, which is the method of assembling and fixing the exterior equipment to a vehicle body, comprises a temporary process of positioning the exterior equipment 1 by engaging the other end of an alignment implement 3 with a vehicle body surface 5 in the state of engaging one end of the alignment implement 3 with one end part of the exterior equipment 1; a fixing process of fixing the exterior equipment 1 to the vehicle body surface 5; and a removal process of removing the alignment implement 3 afterwards. That is, in this assembly method of the vehicle exterior equipment, the alignment implement is once engaged with the vehicle body surface in the temporary process, the exterior equipment is fixed to the vehicle body surface by a double-sided tape or the like in the fixing process, and then the alignment implement is removed in the removal process.
