PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bender for a long size material capable of cold bending the material at any curvature radius and bending angle without using exclusive bending dies. SOLUTION: A slide frame 22 moves to adjust the spacing between a clamper 32 and a pivoted bending piece 68 to a set distance. A carriage 42 moves to the set position so as to convey a material W. A bending jig 64 turns on its axis by a preset angle, thereby exerting a uniform moment on the material W between the clamper 32 and the pivoted bending piece 68 to bend the portion at a preset curvature radius.
