PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern structure of an upholstering material for seats which is capable of forming patterns of an upholstering material for seat cushions and seat backs so as to make belt-like expression of a high-quality deep groove shape with an extremely simple structure and by a simple work, makes it possible to easily and rapidly obtain a pattern state, eliminates the possibility of the occurrence of wrinkles in the upholstering material, can improve a comfortable feel to sit on and fitness, eliminates the possibility of degrading the appearance and has excellent workability and cost effectiveness. SOLUTION: At twenty one points of the upholstering material 17, sewn portions 25 are provided. The sewn portions 25 are inserted into recessed grooves 23 for the patterns formed at a pad material 15. The sewn portions 25 are formed of abutted sewing portions 26 at terminals 17a of the skin material 17 and right and left reverse sewing portions 27 reversed and sewn respectively by the butt sewing portions 26. To the rear surface side of the right and left reverse sewing portions 27, hook-and-loop fasteners 31 are fitted. The bottoms of the recessed grooves 23 for the patterns of the pad material 15 are fitted with hook-and-loop fasteners 33. The hook-and-loop fasteners 31 of the sewing portions 25 of the skin material 17 are detained to the hook-and-loop fasteners 33 at the bottoms of the recessed grooves 23 for the patterns of the pad material 15.
