PURPOSE: A structure for mounting a thermostat is provided to improve the seal performance of a seal gasket. CONSTITUTION: In a structure for mounting a thermostat by interposing a seal gasket(30) between an upper and lower housings(4,5), a groove is formed on the lower part of a flange(2) interposed between the upper and lower housings(4,5). The seal gasket(30) includes an upright portion inserted into the groove and a base portion for adhering closely to the lower housings(5).
