PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the least square method has been heretofore used when a conversion function of a design areal ratio to a press plate and an opening of an ink key is obtained, but the ratio of the normal plate and the opening are uneven in a certain dispersion and when the function is obtained by the method as it is, its error becomes large so that an ink brand and a sheet type must be input by hand with the result that a labor hour is increased. SOLUTION: A method for supplying the ink comprises the steps of previously storing the ink brand and the sheet type in a table in an ink supply device, selecting an ink key conversion function having different characteristics at each upper/lower printing unit in the case of a target density and a rotary press, simply selecting a suitable ink key conversion function, increasing the weight of the low deign areal ratio when the ink key conversion function is obtained as a pair of the areal ratio and the opening at the actual OK sheet time, and obtaining the ink key conversion function having a small error by using the weighing least square method in which the weight of the ratio is reduced. |
