PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to uniform temperature of a sterilizer inside a sterilizing container without setting a mixing means in the container and prevent wax liberated from a film from being adhered to an inner wall of the sterilizer container in a film sterilizing apparatus such that an elongated band film which is continuously fed out is passed through the sterilizing container during the course of feeding. SOLUTION: The film sterilizing apparatus is provided with a heating container 20 for heating the sterilizer which is separately set below the sterilizing container 14 to immerse the film 12 into the sterilizer. The sterilizer heated in the heating container 20 is fed to the vicinity of the bottom of the sterilizing container 14 through a pump 25, and the sterilizing container 1 and the heating container 20 are communicated with each other through each piping 26,28 such that the overflowed sterilizer from the sterilizing container 14 is sent back to the heating container 20.
