<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always ensure a good visibility of a driver when a vehicle turns at an intersection, in a light distribution control system for a vehicular lamp. SOLUTION: A main control circuit of this light distribution control system for a vehicular lamp advances a program to a step 118 and beyond on the basis of a determined result in a step 112 when a vehicle enters an intersection, detects the number of lanes on a vehicular traveling road and an intersecting road in the intersection in a step 120, detects a lane where the vehicle is traveling in a step 122, and estimates a turning direction of the vehicle on the basis of a traveling regulation of the lane where the vehicle is traveling in a step 126. In a step 128, vehicular turning radius at the detected intersection is calculated on the basis of the detected number of the vehicular lanes, the traveling lane, and the estimated turning direction. In a step 136, a lamp 10 is controlled in light distribution by outputting a signal instructing light distribution decided on the basis of the calculated turning radius to a light distribution control circuit.</p> |
